Russ is a serial technology entrepreneur and author, having founded or held senior positions at four venture-backed technology companies and writing The Big Data-Driven Business. He sold his last company, Bizo, to LinkedIn where he ran the Marketing Solutions products group, driving more than 2x growth to over $800 million in revenues. As founder and CEO, he led Bizo, a B2B audience marketing and data platform from its founding to over $50 million in revenues and 160 employees. He is on the board of Rock the Vote and is focused on using his experience with technology, data science, and narrative/branding tactics to develop novel strategies to increase engagement and turnout among young voters. He believes that great cultures = great companies and loves his wife, three daughters, Duke basketball, golf and just about anything in VR.


Karan Singh

Co-founder, Chief Operating Officer

Karan co-founded and currently leads its clinical operations and strategy. He has over 13 years of experience in healthcare from management consulting for biopharma to data analytics, having worked at leading health care firms including ZS Associates and Humedica. A leader in the digital health community, Karan is a frequent speaker on the topics of entrepreneurship, health innovation and new models of care. He has served as a scholar at the Aspen Institute, delivered keynotes at Public Health Institute (PHI) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and recognized as a rising star in Healthcare by LinkedIn's Next Wave. Karan holds his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan, attended the Harvard Medical School / MIT Health, Science & Technology (HST) program, and received his BA and BS in Economics and Business Administration from UC Berkeley.


Anmol Madan

Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer                 

Anmol co-founded He has extensive research experience in modeling large-scale human behavior data using statistical models and machine learning. His past research has been featured in academic journals and publications in computer science, and is cited in popular media and press. He received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Media Lab with Dr. Alex Pentland. Dr. Madan is a frequent international speaker on the topics of behavioral analytics, machine learning, data privacy and healthcare entrepreneurship.


Christine Evans

Chief Marketing Officer            

Christine leads the marketing and communications teams at She has 14 years of experience in bringing new products to market for brands such as Fitbit and Ann Taylor. Most recently, Christine served as an executive at Fitbit leading marketing and communications for the Health Solutions division, and prior to that, led enterprise marketing at Castlight Health. Christine received her BS from Cornell University and MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. As a wife and a mom of two kids, she's passionate about mentoring new working parents and is a vocal advocate for nursing moms' rights at work.


Traunza Adams              

Head of People Operations

Traunza Adams leads’s People Operations team. She previously led HR teams at AppDynamics, UniversityNow, Salesforce, and IBM. Traunza is a graduate of Stanford University and emphasizes a customer and results-focused approach. Her team spearheads’s “life matters” principle, the company’s focus on building a high-growth technology company but in a mentally healthy way. Initiatives include empowering Product and Engineering teams to plan work such that emergencies are minimized, and stress-inducing arbitrary deadlines are avoided. "Life matters" also means employees are supported when they need to leave at 3:00pm for a kid's baseball game, or just need to take a mental health day. Start-ups are said to be inherently unhealthy places, but at, Traunza’s team ensures that maintaining an emotionally healthy workplace is a company priority.


Omar Dawood, MD, MPH

Chief Medical Officer

Omar is a clinician and stage IV cancer survivor with over 25 years of senior management, medical research and clinical experience, innovating medical device and digital health solutions as a senior executive leader. Over the past 2 decades, Omar has served in various senior executive and senior strategic advisor roles to healthcare, medical device and technology companies including Accuray, Kona Medical and Samsung, leading transformative change and disruptive innovation across a number of segments. Omar holds a B.A. in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.P.H. with concentration in cancer epidemiology from Yale University, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.D. from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He went onto residency training in surgery and radiology and a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of California San Francisco. Omar has been honored as both a Howard Hughes and a National Cancer Institute Research Scholar and was named the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 2010 Silicon Valley Man of the Year for his leadership of national fundraising efforts supporting cancer research.


Ainslie Mayberry           

Chief Financial Officer

Ainslie is the CEO of Virtual CFO, Inc., a consulting firm that provides strategic financial and investment consulting services to VC funded technology companies across a broad range of verticals, including digital media, big data, social media, personalization, SAAS, green tech, mobile health, networking, and semiconductor. She has over twenty years of financial experience including fundraising, growth capital, M & A, and multinational operations. Prior to founding Virtual CFO, Inc., Ainslie was a co-founder of Digital Pathways Inc., a network security provider, in Mountain View, California. While with Digital Pathways, she held many executive positions including Interim CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors. While in the IPO process, Digital Pathways was acquired by a public information security company. Ainslie earned a BS and MBA in Finance from San Jose State University. Fun fact: She is a transplanted Kiwi.


Peter Bridges

Chief Commercial Officer

Peter was the founder and managing partner of Peter Bridges Partners, where he worked intensively with leadership teams at several of the world’s leading digital health, information technology, healthcare, and professional services firms to help them scale their businesses to meet growing demand. Bridges’s previous clients ranged in size from pre-revenue startups to Fortune 10 companies. He has also held senior executive roles and practice leader positions with Hewitt Associates and Aon Corporation, now Aon Hewitt as well as Watson Wyatt, now Willis Towers Watson. He holds undergraduate degrees in economics and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University. Peter’s clients, colleagues, and partners benefit from working with an executive whose temperament, experience, and level of insight can help them know what to do even when he or she is in a situation in which they do not know what to do.

Bruce is an operating partner at Khosla Ventures, where he focuses on big data and enterprise technology companies leveraging his more than 25 years of experience developing, marketing, selling and investing in data warehousing and analytic technology applications. Since joining KV, he’s been involved with a number of portfolio companies including Parstream, Datera, MemSQL, Realm, Mesosphere, Panzura, Big Switch Networks, Vectra Networks and Cylance.


Sam Brasch  

Sam Brasch joined Kaiser Permanente Ventures as senior managing director. He has returned to lead the corporate venture fund’s activities after serving as a venture partner at New Leaf Venture Partners and as a senior advisor to Health Catalyst. Sam’s health care industry experience spans more than two decades. During his tenure at Kaiser Permanente Ventures from 2011 to 2014, Sam led the group’s investments in iRhythm Technologies, Health Catalyst, and Nordic Consulting, and other companies. Earlier in his career, Sam was a vice president with Frazier Healthcare Partners, a Seattle-based venture capital firm, and a senior manager with Medtronic’s U.S. and European offices.


Kristina Simmons  

Kristina Simmons is Chief of Staff at Khosla Ventures where she focuses on investments in areas that can be positively impacted with technology, such as in health, agriculture, food, mobile, and transportation. She works with Vinod Khosla on strategic projects for the firm, and advises and supports portfolio companies on fundraising, product, business development, marketing, and general strategy.
